NE MS Lumber Company Annual Golf Classic to Benefit Starkville Habitat for Humanity Coming April 18

It’s time again for the Annual Golf Classic Tournament, a benefit golf event to raise money for the Starkville Habitat for Humanity. The event begins with a shotgun start at 8:30 AM on Saturday, April 18. The tournament takes place on the MSU Golf Course in Starkville, located at 14279 Mississippi Highway 182. 

“Every swing brings us closer to building stronger communities; this tournament isn’t just about a great day on the course; it’s about making a real impact.” 

Starkville’s Habitat for Humanity firmly believes that every man, woman, and child should have a “simple, durable” place in which to live and that “decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.” 

The mission of Starkville’s Habitat for Humanity is to provide eliminating substandard housing by constructing new homes and providing a no interest mortgage to low income homeowners. 

This mission is made possible by donations and by benefits such as the upcoming golf tournament.
