WMC Welcomes Maxey and Boatner as Summer Externs

Winston Medical Center announced last week that two locals were selected for an awesome learning opportunity - the summer extern program. Lana Boatner and Grace Maxey, both BSN students, will be able to earn 320 hours working in the WMC Emergency Room. Both Boatner and Maxey have completed their junior year in the BSN program.

Winston Medical Center noted that this program "allows nursing students who are entering their senior year to work alongside our current nurses while gaining invaluable real world nursing experiences."
