The Robert Higginbotham Memorial Chapter of The National Wild Turkey Federation will hold its annual "turkey banquet" on Saturday, June 28 at the Louisville Dome.

This year's event is sponsored by Warner Services and All Creatures Vet Clinic.

This is one of the most highly-anticipated social events in Winston County, and tickets are available through members or they may be picked up at the Citizens' Bank or the Renasant Bank. Single tickets are $65, but couples' tickets offer a slight savings. The $65 will pay for a one-year membership in the NWTF as well as pay for the wonderful seafood buffet provided by Taylor's Grocery of Oxford.

While tickets may be purchased at the door, potential attendees are encouraged to purchase ahead of time.

As usual, there will be tables set up with all sorts of goodies for the silent auction. These items have been donated by various businesses in Winston County as well as some businesses in the area.

Don't miss out on this fun event, and, if you are listening to WLSM 107.1 on Wednesday, you may hear even more details about the "turkey banquet." Tune in to "What's Happening Wednesdays just after Switch and Swap!
