Softball Field Renamed to Honor Coach Nathan

The unveiling of the Nellie Howard Nathan softball field will be held Wednesday,  April 15, 2026, 5:15 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. A preview can be arranged earlier. 

Coach Howard-Nathan was a coach and Physical Education Teacher at Louisville Colored High School, Camille Street High and Louisville High School. She has been the only coach to win a championship on that softball field which is across the street from the high school. RIP Coach Howard Nathan. The Wildcats and Trojans loved her.
