Small Ruminant Workshop to be held at J.B. Blanset Farm March 18

The Winston County Extension Office is proud to team up with local J.B. Blanset to host a Small Ruminant Workshop on March 18 at 4:00 PM. 


The workshop will detail information and tips for tagging and identification of “ruminant” animals, including goats and sheep. The workshop is hosted by Dr. Rios de Alvarez, a Mississippi State University specialist in the area. Other care tips will be provided including the health of the hoof of small livestock as well as hoof trimming. Information on vaccinations for this class of animal will also be presented. 


The location of the workshop is 273 McCully Road in Louisville.
