Robert Combest Grand Marshal of Louisville Alumni Parade

The Louisville Alumni  Association will have its 38th Bi-Annual Louisville Alumni Reunion on Friday July 3 - Saturday, July 4th, 2026  at Melodee's (formerly known as Lee's Restaurant), 13759 Hwy14 West , Louisville, MS. According to the president Vernal Lampley and Vice President Roy Eichelberger, this will be the perfect time to recall how Louisville Color High School, Camille Street High, Louisville High, Nanih Waiya and Noxapater High School have shaped our lives and the opportunities our experiences at these schools have afforded us.

Friday - Meet and Greet, 7:00 p.m.


Saturday - 10:00 a.m. the traditional Louisville Alumni Parade (line-up 9:00 a.m. at the Louisville Coliseum) Contact person Connie  Speights 662.- 803-5181 Parade will consist of cars, trucks, 4 wheelers, floats, dance groups, and bands. Entry fee to enter the parade is $5.00. This years parade will honor and have floats for the Home Coming Queens. The class of 1964 of the Louisville Colored High School had the queen each year from 8th grade until they graduated in 1964. They set a record for Home Coming queens. The parade will will leave from the Louisville Coliseum, turn right on Ball Street; left on Hwy 15; right on Main Street; left on MLK Drive: right on Cagle Street; left on Camille Street. 


There will be judges for the different categories.

Robert (Pee Wee) Combest is the Grand Marshal for the parade. He is a graduate of the Class of 1963 of the Louisville Colored High School.  Robert was selected in recognition of his passion, commitment and dedication to the Louisville Alumni.


Saturday - 7:00 p.m. - Until Banquet and Dance. 


Dr. Benjamin Morris Pittman, pastor of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, will be the banquet speaker.
