Mississippi State's Bagley College of Engineering announced on Wednesday that The ExxonMobil Foundation gifted the college with $110,000. This gift allowed for the establishment of the ExxonMobil Foundation Engineering Student Excellence Program.

The program will offer assistance in the form of tutoring, academic counseling, mentorship, and career development workshops. This is intended to be a proactive approach to at-risk students before they are placed on academic probation.

Jean Mohammadi-Aragh commented, "Partnering with the ExxonMobil Foundation to support engineering student excellence is a huge win for the Bagley College of Engineering. This initiative enhances our ongoing efforts to offer tailored academic support, mentorship, and career development from the very start of students' academic journeys. Our goal is not to only graduate skilled engineers but to ensure they are well-prepared and successful in their careers."
