LPD Announces 2026 Torch Run Event

For the last few years, the Louisville Police Department has held a Torch Run event ahead of the Mississippi Special Olympics.

The LPD recently announced that this year’s Torch Run will be held on May 5 at 11:30 AM.

This event is free to the public and anyone may come and walk or run in the event.

Interested participants will meet outside the Louisville Safe Room, “the Dome.”
