LHS Athletic Boosters Annual Fish Fry This Friday, May 2

The LHS Athletic Boosters Annual Fish Fry each spring has become a highly anticipated fundraising event here in Winston County, and this Friday, the Boosters will once again feed the community while raising funds for athletics at Louisville High School.

Coach Tyrone Shorter shared with WLSM that this year's fundraiser is meant to benefit the entire Athletic Department. He added that in 2024-2025 alone, the Athletic Department had spent $29,000 to improve the facilities at LHS.

The Fish Fry is this Friday, May 2, from 10 AM - 4 PM. Tickets may be pre-purchased from any football player, coach or board member, but Shorter noted that walk-ups are always welcome.

Coach Shorter also wanted to thank the sponsors of the event - Winston Plywood and Veneer, The Piggly Wiggly of Louisville, and Southeast Timber of Ackerman.
