Junior Auxiliary to Host First Annual Golf Tournament to Benefit Dyslexia and Wee Care Projects

ree

The Junior Auxiliary of Louisville has been hard at work planning events to benefit needy children of Winston County.

Last week, JA hosted its yearly tradition, Back to School Bingo with a great turnout. All proceeds, whether in the form of actual school supplies or a monetary donation, went to local students.

However, one of the top priorities of the Junior Auxiliary is providing help to children with dyslexia. The Junior Auxiliary will pay for a child to be tested through a qualified testing center.

Seeing a need, the Junior Auxiliary raises money so that dyslexic children can benefit.

Last week, Bridget Blackwell and Jordan Smith of the Junior Auxiliary, joined WLSM for What’s Happening Wednesday. You can find their program on www.therefugeonline.com/listen.

You don’t have to be great at golf to help children across the county get access to the training they need to become successful in the classroom! You may register ahead of time or Saturday morning! You may contact Bridget Blackwell or Sara Chancellor for more information.
