Iconic Actress Loni Anderson Passes at 79

Legendary actress, who is best known for her role on WKRP in Cincinatti, passed away this weekend. Anderson was "hospitalized following a prolonged illness" according to her publicist.


Anderson was 79 years old.


Anderson rose to fame in the 1970s in her role in the WKRP in Cincinatti role. She was also known for appearing in cameo roles, and the paparazzi followed her romance and marriage to Burt Reynolds closely.


The couple was married from 1988 to 1994, and they have one child together. They worked together in the 1983 movie Stroker Ace. However, the pair met for the first time when both were guests on The Merv Griffin Show.


Later in her career, Anderson played roles in Melrose Place, Sabrina, The Teenage Witch, and Clueless.
