Hendrix Wraps Up National Library Week Celebration at WCL

Scott Hendrix, local author and a native of Louisville, made an appearance at the Winston County Library Friday to discuss his latest book, Justine. 

As with Hendrix’ previous publications, the book is set in Mississippi. This time, the book is set chiefly in the Delta. The book follows its heroine through an abusive marriage and her journey to freedom. Along the way, she helps to uncover a child trafficking ring. Hendrix said he was influenced by current headlines when writing the book.
