The East Central Community College (ECCC) Baseball team is headed back to the NJCAA Division II World Series for the third straight year, earning one of only two at-large bids into the 12-team national tournament held in Enid, Oklahoma.

The Warriors, who hold an impressive 42-14 overall record, will enter the tournament as the No. 6 seed. The NJCAA DII World Series begins Saturday, May 24, and runs through Friday, May 30, at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.

The tournament field includes 10 automatic qualifiers—each representing a district championship team—along with two at-large selections determined by the NJCAA selection committee. District qualifiers include: Heartland Community College, Lackawanna College, Kellogg Community College, Pearl River Community College, Frederick Community College, Madison College, Iowa Central Community College, Pasco-Hernando State College, Catawba Valley Community College, and South Mountain Community College. The other at-large selection is Southeastern Community College.

The Warriors aim to build on last year's strong showing, which ended in the semi-final round. ECCC is slated to take on the No. 11 seed, Catawba Valley, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 24.
