The Choctaw Indian Fair will kick off its opening ceremonies this week on Wednesday, July 9.

The event boasts multiple events each day as well as lots of fun activities for the entire family. Stickball tournaments are currently underway, and they will continue throughout the week. The Choctaw Princess pageant will officially open evening events. However, the carnival offers POP pricing so that those who wish to do so may enjoy the rides today and tomorrow (see Choctaw Indian Fair Announces POP Carnival Schedule for more information).

Chapel Hart and Chris Young are slated to entertain via concerts later this week; however, many are looking forward to something a little different as Hip Hop artist Flo Rida is a part of this year's lineup.

WLSM and The Refuge Online will share more information this week about the Choctaw Fair as well as the upcoming Neshoba County Fair.
