
Arrests Made in Tuesday Night Drive-by Shooting in Louisville

Latest Update on Drive-By Shooting Investigation
On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, two arrests were made in connection with the fatal shooting of Quincy Markez Haynes, a 24-year-old Black male of Louisville, which occurred Tuesday night.
Officers from the Louisville Police Department and the Winston County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ja’Lavian Hunt, an 18-year-old Black male of Louisville, and Terence Randall Griffin, a 30-year-old Black male also of Louisville.
Hunt has been charged with one count of murder and three counts of aggravated assault. Griffin is charged with one count of accessory before and after the fact to murder and three counts of accessory before and after the fact to aggravated assault.
Both individuals will appear before the Louisville Municipal Court for an initial bond hearing.
A third individual was detained during the investigation but was later released based on new information received.
The vehicle used in the shooting was recovered by officers from the Philadelphia Police Department.
The additional individuals injured during the incident have been identified as Javontay Ty’Quaz Harrison, Julius Kanard Love Jr., and Xzarrion Pippin.
The investigation is ongoing, and additional updates will be provided as they become available.
