Abundant Life Ministries to Host Benefit Gospel Singing at Pleasant Grove UMC Sept. 20

Mrs. Aline Haynes announced another benefit Gospel Singing event to be held at 3:00 PM September 20, this Saturday.

Local choirs, The Lowery Singers, and Steve Eiland are all on tap to perform.

This benefit will help Ms. Helen Harrington, Mrs. Carmelita Hawthorne Ball (“Bam”) and Ms. Daisy Ford with medical expenses. Each of these ladies is a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Aline asks that those who are able to make a donation of $20 to consider doing so, however, “donations of any amount” will be greatly appreciated. “Would you please join me in helping to bless these families financially? Please keep them in your prayers, as we never know when trouble will knock at our doors. Let us always pray for each other.”

The dress code for the event is casual, “jeans are welcome.”
