2025 Noxubee County Football Schedule Released

On Monday, April 7th, the Noxubee County Football 2025 schedule was released. Notable matchups include the West Point Green Wave coming to Macon on September 12th, and last year's 4A runner up Louisville Wildcats will be coming to town September 26th.

Last year the Tigers finished 11-3 with a trip to the 3A state championship game, but came up short against the Choctaw County Chargers.

Head Coach Teddy Young had this to say about the upcoming 2025 season, "Team chemistry is going to be big this year. We will be looking for our sophomores to step up. Our interior will be important as well. Games are won and lost in the interior." Coach Young said the defense will be the most seasoned as they are returning 8 starters.

Since Coach Young became the Tigers head coach in 2019 the tigers have had an overall record of 58-25. In that same span the Tigers have made the playoffs each year and have made an appearance in the 3A state title game 5 out of 6 years.

Winning is the standard at Noxubee County. Coach Young and his staff have done exactly that. The 2025 season should be no different.
