Tuesday Night Shooting Takes one Life

Drive-By Shooting on West College Street – Ongoing Investigation

Louisville, MS – At approximately 10:00 PM on Tuesday night, a drive-by shooting occurred in the 200 block of West College Street in Louisville. Officers from the Louisville Police Department responded swiftly to the scene and rendered first aid to the victims until Emergency Medical Services arrived.

All injured individuals were transported to Winston Medical Center for treatment. One male victim was later airlifted to Jackson, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries from the gunshot wounds.

At this time, three arrests have been made in connection with the incident. The ongoing investigation is being conducted with the assistance of the Winston County Sheriff’s Office, the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, and the Philadelphia Police Department.
