Revival Carries on after Power Outage

Tuesday evening, according to revival pastor Corey Jackson, “The power might have been out, but the fire ain’t!” When thunderstorms blew through Winston County in the early evening, a power outage occurred at Good Hope Baptist Church, where Jackson has held revival meetings this week. Jackson said that people pulled out their phones and flashlights and the service carried on, even though the electricity was out.

The revival began on Sunday, March 2 and ended on Wednesday, March 6. Brother Corey Jackson conducted services along with the musical talents of Steve and Becky Carver.
