Henry F. Brandt

Henry F. Brandt, 95, passed away on March 4, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital—Golden Triangle in Columbus, Mississippi, with his loving family by his side. He was born July 1, 1929, to Bernard and Eva Todd Brandt in Missouri. A memorial service to celebrate Henry’s life will be held at a later date.

Henry is survived by his loving wife, Joann Brandt; and his daughter, Melanie Brandt O’Kelley (William C. “Bo” O’Kelley). One of her greatest joys was being spending time with his two grandsons, William “Clark” O’Kelley, III (Nancy) and Henry Brandt O’Kelley; as well as his two great-grandchildren, William Clark O’Kelley, IV and Anne Collier “Annie” O’Kelley. He also leaves behind his sister, Eva Mae Distler; as well as his loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Henry is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, and one sister.
