Macon, Mississippi — Noxubee Medical Complex is proud to announce the appointment of Jeremy Cummins as Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant milestone as the organization continues to expand services and invest in the future of healthcare for Noxubee County and the surrounding region.

Cummins assumes leadership during a period of growth and transformation for the Medical Complex, highlighted by the construction of the organization's new Outpatient Pavilion, an investment designed to enhance access to healthcare services, improve patient experiences, and strengthen the delivery of quality care throughout the community.

"Our Outpatient Pavilion opens the door for additional specialty services. We will have adequate space for care,” said Cummins. “We will continue building upon our services to expand wound care and eventually mammogram services for diagnostic testing for breast cancer. We have a grant underway to help fund and support that movement.”

Noxubee Medical Complex serves as a vital healthcare resource for residents throughout the region, offering hospital services, emergency care, primary care, specialty services, long-term care, rehabilitation, diagnostic testing, and outpatient services. For decades, the organization remains committed to improving the health and well-being of the communities it serves through accessible,

patient-centered healthcare.

The new Outpatient Pavilion represents one of the most significant investments in the Medical

Complex's history. Designed to modernize healthcare delivery and expand outpatient services, the facility will help meet the evolving healthcare needs of the community.

"A leader is someone who is in it with the people,“ said Cummins. Jeremy sees room for

additional changes and growth beyond the Outpatient Pavilion. Among them is updating the current Emergency Room for more efficient service and care.

"We have great providers, excellent doctors and highly-skilled tenured nurse practitioners. There are great people here. I’m coming beside them to do this work together."

Under Cummins' leadership, Noxubee Medical Complex will continue focusing on strategic

growth, service expansion, operational excellence, and community partnerships. Thesepriorities support the organization's long-standing mission of providing comprehensive

healthcare services while remaining deeply rooted in the community it serves.

"As healthcare continues to evolve, our commitment remains the same,“ Cummins added.

"We will continue to invest in our people, our facilities, and our services so that families can receive the quality healthcare they deserve right here at home.“
